The goal of the South Dallas AIDS Walk is to inspire, rally, and galvanize an often forgotten community to curb the spread of HIV/AIDS and aid those in need.
Through this walk, it is our mission to raise much needed funds to support the organizations providing HIV/AIDS services to people living within the Southern Sector of Dallas, which maintains the hightes numbers of HIV Positive individuals within the city of Dallas.
It is also our goal with this walk, to work to erase the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS within this community through education and information, encouraging an open dialogue about HIV/AIDS. This empowerment of community through education and information, can in turn reduce the number of new infections which is an additional goal of the South Dallas AIDS Walk.
The South Dallas AIDS Walk is an initiative of the Anthony Chisom AIDS Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization established in Dallas with the mission of bringing SUPPORT, HEALTH, & MEDICINE to people living with HIV/AIDS around the world. This support comes in the form of help with Medical COBRA Payment Assistance, Medication Payment Assistance, Bus Passes, Rental Assistance, Utility Payment Assistance, Emergency Assistance, & Global Outreach Assistance programs.
